Description
OBJECTIVES OF POST
- To be first point of contact for visitors to head office and telephone enquiries.
- To provide an efficient and courteous response to callers, and to identify the nature and urgency of the query, deal with simple enquiries or refer callers correctly as appropriate.
- To process incoming and outgoing mail promptly and efficiently.
Qualifications
- 5 GCSE ‘C’ grade or above, or equivalent including English and Maths
- Understanding of Filing systems / methods and the ability to maintain, update including both manual and computer systems.
- Experience of Microsoft Word/Excel
Preferred Skills
Ability to
- communicate well with tenants, staff, contractors and outside agencies (clear speaking voice)
- record telephone enquiries accurately using MS Outlook
- prioritise workload and self motivation
- work as part of a team
