We are seeking an experienced and committed person to give support to some residents who may have complex needs. The ideal candidate must have experience in working in a supported housing environment with knowledge of best practices and delivering support which achieves independence, promotes and empowers service users. The job is on a rota basis and applicants will be expected to work some mornings, afternoons, long days, nights and weekends.

GCSE /NVQ Level 2 / Essential
Knowledge and Experience
Experience of working in a /supportive environment / Essential
Experience of working with young people in a hostel
environment / Desirable
Experience and understanding of housing projects / Desirable
Awareness of Health and Safety issues / Essential
Experience of dealing with public in difficult situations / Essential
You will need to have excellent organisational skills, and be computer literate. However most importantly, you will need to demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service, including a caring supportive and flexible attitude. You should also possess excellent communication skills, both verbal/written and be confident in dealing with a diverse range of issues and enjoy communicating with people of all ages.
